Our weekly small group meetings will start on Thursday, January 4th at 6:30 PM on Zoom. To start the year, leading up to Lent, we will read Troubling the Water: The Urgent Work of Radical Belonging by Ben McBride. Here’s a bit from the teaser:
‘What would it take to truly belong to each other? Radical belonging, McBride argues, means looking at our implicit biases, at our faulty understandings of power, and at how we "other"—or "same"—people. Sometimes it even means troubling the waters—speaking hard truths in situations that appear calm but that cloak injustice.’

Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.

Once each month, we invite anyone to join us for a Casual Conversation about Serious Subjects. In the past, we met at a restaurant in the Mt. Vernon area of Baltimore to discuss burning questions of the day. Each question is proposed by that month's facilitator (we never disclose the topic in advance). We are thankful to now be meeting IN PERSON again!
Join us for a rousing conversation.
Our rules:
1. this is a safe environment to share, therefore, all ideas are appreciated, even if not agreed upon.
2. be respectful of others' opinions.
3. have fun!
Typically, we meet the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. Please keep checking Our social media and emails for dates and locations.
Administrative Council meetings are scheduled for the second Sunday of each month following the service. This schedule is subject to change. All church members are welcome to attend council meetings.
