This fund was established to help members of our community who have an expressed need. For example, we help people who have had home fires, have medical expenses that they can't afford, or who are in need of a meal or transportation.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of one church member, over the years we have sent over 500 comfort birds to people in Maryland, Ohio, Iowa, Tennessee, and Sierra Leon.
These little birds fit snugly into the palm of the hand. Designed to relieve stress, they also let holders know that they are loved and never alone.

Through our Outreach Committee and Benevolence fund, MVP-UMC sponsors drives to support the homeless through donations of food, clothing, and other necessities. Email the church to learn more.
