Articulate and demonstrate the relevance of the Word in daily life and living
Develop witnessing strategies for the church family
Structure a witnessing ministry that reflects the social, economic and moral values and discipline inherent in the gospel of Christ
Structure activities of service for nurturing all members of the church family, and assure an appropriate sense of support to their common life
Design programs for service to those in the community outside the church family who look at Mount Vernon Place Church as a spiritual resource, and as a source of support as they struggle with crises in their lives
